Our Parish Churches
Strath & Sleat is a parish with a rich heritage. The following links will hopefully give you a taster of the life and community of our congregations as well as detailing something of the history, surroundings and features of our 4 churches:
Broadford Church
Find out more about the life and history of the Broadford congregation and the church building which directly overlooks the beautiful Broadford bay. Broadford is our largest congregation.
Elgol Church
The little church in Elgol lies near the end of the Elgol road which takes you into some of the most astounding views of the Cuillin hills. It's a challenging road but well worth the effort to meet our small but very welcoming congregation!
Kilmore Church
Kilmore church is set in 'the Garden of Skye', the Sleat peninsula. The Gaelic language is popular amongst the congregation with the building itself being just down the road from 'Sabhal Mor Ostaig', Scotland's Gaelic college.
Kyleakin Church
Most people travelling to the Isle of Skye arrive by the infamous Skye bridge. The village of Kyleakin is there to greet them. Read more about our Kyleakin congregation and church building.
