We exist...
To Glorify God Who is our Sovereign;
To present Jesus Christ Who is our Saviour;
To keep in step with the Holy Spirit Who is our Sanctifier,
in order to be a light so lovely in the community that all would be drawn into His presence.

Kilmore Church of Scotland
A very warm, friendly group of Christians meet weekly in the Kilmore parish church. This is the perfect place if you are visiting and would like a little taster of the Gaelic language and culture - you will hear Gaelic spoken, and the Gaelic Bible read by people who have a love for the Lord Jesus and a love for their native tongue.
Kilmore, and the whole Sleat peninsula on the Isle of Skye, is a place where the Gaelic language is still loved and used, the Kilmore church itself being almost next door to the 'Ionad Chaluim Chille' buildings of Sabhal Mor Ostaig, Scotland's Gaelic college.
There is a parent and toddler room available for use during the Sunday morning services (11am) and also a Sunday school for the older children. A cup of tea or coffee is available after the service, giving you a chance to meet and chat to the local folk (and to try out your Gaelic if you like!). On the first Sunday of each month there is a 'Praise Concert' held in Kilmore church, and on the 3rd Sunday of every month a service entirely in the Gaelic language - offering a rare opportunity to experience worship through Gaelic Psalm singing. Both of these evening meetings are at 6pm.
All are most welcome to join with us each Wednesday evening at 8pm for a time of prayer and Bible study in the church.
