We exist...
To Glorify God Who is our Sovereign;
To present Jesus Christ Who is our Saviour;
To keep in step with the Holy Spirit Who is our Sanctifier,
in order to be a light so lovely in the community that all would be drawn into His presence.
More Prayer!
(Added 18/07/07)
We all know that the Bible talks about prayer, encourages us to pray, commands us to pray, and assures us in numerous persuasive ways that prayer is effective - heard and answered by God. But would any of us truly say that we pray as we should or that we pray as often as we could?
The Kirk Session have decided to take a big step in encouraging Christians in the parish to pray.
At the recent meeting, the Kirk Session was reflecting on the importance of prayer in and for the parish, and particularly for the Sunday services because of their importance as the primary focal point of the parish's life, fellowship, teaching and evangelism. Consequently there is going to be an opportunity given to meet before the services in each church to spend time in prayer for the service to come.
These important and worthwhile times of prayer are open to all. The times are as follows:
Broadford @ 9.30am
Elgol @ 5.30pm
Kilmore @ 10.30am
Kyleakin @ 11.30am
