Holding the torch

Today Strath & Sleat assumes responsibility for leading prayers for Tearfund during the organisation's Jubilee Year. We shall be acknowledging this at our meetings today and coming good on our commitment throughout the week. At the heart of Tearfund's work is reconciliation: to God, to one another, to the environment. Nothing is more important, yet nothing is further beyond our capacity to achieve! That is why prayer is the answer. Because we know that reconciliation is God's will and that all things are possible for him. So, let us pray...
