"The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. " Habakkuk 3.19

The waiting is over and the celebrations have begun, as a grateful nation draws its final succour from a dying monarch. If for nothing else (and there is much else), for her love of God and service of nation and Commonwealth Queen Elizabeth deserves cherishing. Her willingness to sacrifice her own life, however privileged, draws these strands together, for they are a reflection of her - and our - Lord and Saviour's perfect sacrifice, which was anything but privileged.

My own celebration is taking me to the hills, so the sequel to this will occur and the end and not the beginning of tomorrow. Please be patient - it's a virtue, so be blessed!
