Taking the plunge

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Proverbs 27.1

Another rendering of the proverb might be: Do not put off your good intentions until tomorrow, get on with them today... In that spirit I announced in church yesterday that, for the third (and final) year, I would give up hair for Lent. This time the aim is to raise £100 for 10 charities. Rather than nominate them myself I thought it would be interesting to invite the church to choose. As well as raising support it will reveal which causes are closest to the hearts of our members and adherents. If you are reading this then that includes you!
